French Cultural Studies

French Cultural Studies

Publisher: SAGE Publications

French Cultural Studies is designed to respond to the important changes that
have affected the study of French culture, language and society in all
sections of the education system.

The journal encourages and provides a forum for the full range of work being
done on all aspects of modern French culture. The study of literature has a
place in the journal, but particular prominence is given to such areas as
cinema, television, the press, the visual arts, popular culture, and
cultural and intellectual debate. The emphasis is on the 20th century, but
the study of the roots of modern culture is also seen as a major interest of
the journal.
