Journal of Pharmacy Practice

Journal of Pharmacy Practice

Publisher: SAGE Publications

The Journal of Pharmacy Practice offers the practicing pharmacist topical,
imporatant, and useful information to support pharmacy practice and
pharmaceutical care and expand the pharmacist's professional horizons. The
journal is presented in a single-topic, scholarly review format. Guest
editors are selected for expertise in the subject area, who then recruit
contributors from that practice or topic area.

Each peer-reviewed article assesses practice issues, practice settings,
therapeutics issues, disease management, the latest research, current legal
and regulatory considerations, as well as issues arising from today¹s
topsy-turvy health-care environment. Each issue features a guest editor with
particular expertise in the subject area.

In addition, each issue contains an Adverse Drug Experience Report that
addresses a clinically relevant adverse reaction, including a review of the
pertinent literature about the mechanism and experience with that reaction,
as well as commentary and advice for the prevention of that adverse drug
experience. From time to time, the journal will also include special
articles on Contemporary Practice Issues.
