Molecules is a journal of synthetic organic and natural product
chemistry. It covers mainly small- and medium-sized molecules and their
preparation (synthesis, biosynthesis, extraction, etc.), structural
elucidation (X-ray crystallography, NMR, etc.), their properties
(chemical and biological activities) and applications (functional
materials, additives, catalysts, etc.). Authors are encouraged to submit
samples of the relevant chemical species to an MDPI storage center.

Papers describing combinatorial synthesis, engineering and robotics of
multi-step synthesis and natural product isolation, applications of
compound collections such as high throughput screening and combinatorial
compound libraries, molecular diversity assessments, compound archives
management, and compound database design and management, are also welcome.

Molecules is published as a monthly online and a yearly printed and
CD-ROM version. The latter includes also the supplementary material.

Abstracts of papers are available in html format, but full text must be
downloaded either in PDF format or g-zipped Postscript.
