Usak University Journal of Material Sciences

http://uujms.usak.edu.tr/

Description: UUJMS published twice a year in June and December by Usak
University. It is a refereed journal. The main objective of UUJMS is
to provide an international academic platform for researchers to share
scientific results related to all aspects of material sciences. UUJMS
aims at the publication of original research articles, reviews, short
communications, technical reports and letter to the editor on the
latest developments in the fields of material sciences, engineering
and technology. UUJMS is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to
experimental and theoretical research into the synthesis, structure,
properties and applications of materials. The subjects are seen from
international and interdisciplinary perspectives covering but not
limited to areas including metals, alloys, ceramics, glasses,
polymers, novel solid phases, electrical materials, building
materials, recycled materials, composite materials, fibers,
nanomaterials, nanostructured materials, nanocomposites, biological
and biomedical materials, opto-electronics, and natural materials. The
scope of topics covered in UUJMS includes: -Design, optimization,
development, synthesis, manufacturing, processing, testing, and
characterization of the materials -Elucidation of the mechanisms
involved in the synthesis and processing of materials -Applications of
numerical methods and statistics in material sciences -Simulation and
modeling preferably combined with experimentation -Theoretical and
practical aspects of the structure and behavior of materials.
-Tribology of materials and nanotribology
