Atlanta Federal Reserve President to Speak March 6
Join the Library Associates to welcome Dennis P. Lockhart, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, to campus on Thursday, March 6. Lockhart will deliver the second annual Tanous Family Endowed Lecture, established by Library Board member Peter J. Tanous (C’60) in 2010.
Lockhart is the 14th president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He is responsible for all the Bank’s activities, including monetary policy, bank supervision and regulation, and payment services, and is a member of the Federal Reserve’s chief monetary policy body, the Federal Open Market Committee. From 2003 to 2007, Lockhart served on the faculty of the School of Foreign Service.
The lecture will take place at 6 pm on Thursday, March 6 in Lohrfink Auditorium in the Hariri Building. RSVP today!
