The Library celebrated the wonderful gift of the Obras Completas Del Prof. Juan Bosch (The Complete Works of Professor Juan Bosch) from the Embassy of the Dominican Republic with an intimate ceremony on June 16 with special guests, Ambassador José Tomás Pérezand Tom Banchoff, Vice President for Global Engagement.
Juan Bosch in addition to being a politician was a prolific writer and educator. His writing spanned many genres from short stories, to essays, to histories. The Library is thrilled to be able to add the work of one of the most prominent writers in Dominican literature to our collection.
Once cataloged, the entire collection will be available to the campus community through the Library’s circulating collection in Lauinger Library.
