The Library Welcomes Two New Staff Members

Jade Madrid and Cody Hackett

The Library welcomed two new staff earlier this summer, Cody Hackett, Senior Electronic Resources Specialist and Jade Madrid, Latin American Studies & Iberian Languages Liaison & Reference Librarian!

Cody Hackett joined the Library’s Technical Services Department on May 22. Cody came to Georgetown from the University of Arkansas, where he worked on Electronic Resources for his Alma Mater! Cody is thrilled to be working with such a fantastic group of coworkers and scholars and looks forward to continuing the hard work of the Library by getting you access to all the online resources that you use every day!

Jade Madrid joined the Library’s Collections, Research, & Instruction Department on June 1. She has library experience in Mexico, Guatemala and Louisiana and has lived and worked in Argentina and Spain.  Jade comes to us with an MA in Latin American Studies from Tulane University and an MS from Simmons College.  She is looking forward to working closely with Georgetown faculty and students!
