- Libraries & Spaces
We are currently installing new doors in the stairwell in Lauinger Library. During this time, visitors will not be able to use landings that are under construction, either to enter that floor or pass through en route to another. We encourage visitors to use the elevators, although the stairwell may still be used to access floors that are not under construction. Landings under construction should only be used in the case of an emergency.
The Library is now offering online access to Meet the Press, the longest-running show on network TV. More than 1,500 hours of footage from the weekly news program are available for streaming online, including many episodes not seen since their original broadcast.
Meet the Press premiered on NBC on November 6, 1947 and has since become an institution in broadcast journalism. Each episode features interviews with national and world leaders on the pressing issues of the day. Foreign policy has always been a staple of Meet the Press and the available footage includes landmark interviews with world leaders such as Fidel Castro, Indira Gandhi, Yassar Arafat, Mikhail Gorbachev, Pervez Musharraf and Tony Blair. These interviews provide a treasure trove of material for students and faculty.
