We are currently installing new doors in the stairwell in Lauinger Library. During this time, visitors will not be able to use landings that are under construction, either to enter that floor or pass through en route to another. We encourage visitors to use the elevators, although the stairwell may still be used to access floors that are not under construction. Landings under construction should only be used in the case of an emergency.

Take a Class in the Gelardin New Media Center

The Gelardin New Media Center is offering free fall workshops on various technology applications and skills, including iMovie, Photoshop, presentation design, social media marketing, and more. And they’re not just for students and staff—faculty are welcome at all of our workshops! We also offer workshops designed specifically for faculty, including “Ditching the Final Paper for a Multimedia Project” co-sponsored with CNDLS, which will introduce Georgetown faculty to various types of multimedia assignments for your students.

Workshop descriptions, dates, and registration information can be found on Gelardin’s website.
