We are currently installing new doors in the stairwell in Lauinger Library. During this time, visitors will not be able to use landings that are under construction, either to enter that floor or pass through en route to another. We encourage visitors to use the elevators, although the stairwell may still be used to access floors that are not under construction. Landings under construction should only be used in the case of an emergency.

Updated Group Study Rooms

As part of our ongoing effort to improve and expand the study spaces in the Library, all group study rooms in Lauinger have been updated with new whiteboards and 42” LCD monitors for collaborative and interactive study. HDMI and Mini DisplayPort adapters for connecting your laptop to the monitors are available in the rooms; other adapters can be checked out from the Gelardin New Media Center. Dry erase markers are available for check out at the Circulation Desk.

And don’t forget that you can reserve any of our seven group study rooms and our ten short-term graduate study rooms (for graduate students) online at library.georgetown.edu/rooms!
