Georgetown Crew poster, circa 1904.

This early 20th-century lithographic print was cracked, brittle, discolored and deteriorating. Conservation included: surface cleaning; mending cracks with toned paper and cellulose powder; humidifying and flattening the print under pressure; deacidification; toning image losses at cracks with Winsor and Newton watercolors; and hinging the print into a window mat for further protection into the future.
