Georgetown University Dramatic Association poster, circa 1911.

This poster from the University Archives was severely damaged by heat and humidity. Cracks and tears were already apparent, and more damage was a continual risk due to embrittlement. Conservation of the poster included: surface cleaning; filling in cracks with toned paper and cellulose powder; deacidification; and hinging the print into a window mat for further protection into the future.
