- Libraries & Spaces
We are currently installing new doors in the stairwell in Lauinger Library. During this time, visitors will not be able to use landings that are under construction, either to enter that floor or pass through en route to another. We encourage visitors to use the elevators, although the stairwell may still be used to access floors that are not under construction. Landings under construction should only be used in the case of an emergency.
As of August 2014, all printing in the Library is managed by UIS as part of h.Print. Patrons may print to the h.Print system using library computing stations, wirelessly using SaxaNet, or from USB (PDF, TIFF, and JPG formats only).
Georgetown University students, staff, and faculty MUST be connected to SaxaNet (and not GuestNet) to print from a laptop.
Non-Georgetown affiliated patrons may print using the Public Computing stations on the 3rd floor. Patrons must purchase Guest Cards, available at the Lauinger GOCard Deposit Station located in the third-floor lobby area. The closest GOCard Deposit Station to Blommer is located in the Leavey Center. The guest card itself costs $1. Values of $1, $5, $10 and $20 can be added to guest cards and to GOCards at the GOCard Deposit Station.
