The focus of our Arabic resources is politics, culture, history of the Arab world, with a special emphasis on the Arabian Gulf region and language & literature.
GU-Q Library has a collection of more than 4,000 physical Arabic resources, including books, journals and DVDs and subscriptions to more than 6,000 electronic resources.
Our subscriptions include:
Al-Manhal - Full-text access to more than 3,000 recently published books from the Arab world including peer-reviewed publications
Kotobarabia - Full-text access to more than 3,700 contemporary and classic Arabic books, originally mainly published in Egypt.
In addition, the majority of the Islamic Medical & Scientific Ethics (IMSE) Collection, which is accessible for reference use in the Library, is in Arabic language.
