Georgetown University-Qatar defines Alumni as those persons who have graduated from GU-Qatar.
To support the lifelong learning of alumni, the library offers its graduates library membership. As members, alumni are eligible to access and borrow from the Georgetown University library collection.
Alumni can download the alumni application form (located at the bottom of this page) and fill it in prior to their next visit; or sign up at the library’s circulation desk. Once an applicants graduation date has been verified, a library card will be issued. Please provide valid identification when you register or renew your membership. Acceptable forms of identification are Qatar State I.D., Qatar Resident Permit or a current Passport with Resident Permit.
* Please note - we recommend you make a copy of your Qatar ID or passport with Resident Permit prior to arriving at the library to become a member. The security at Education City may request you leave your Qatar ID at the gate of entry upon arrival at Education City.
Alumni also have access to a selected number of databases.
To renew library books, you can either login to your account online, send an email to the library, or call the library at 4457-8280.
