    Tutorials

  • Joining the Conversation: Scholarly Research and Academic Integrity

    An online tutorial required of all first-year and transfer students who must complete it by October 5, 2007.

    Login to Student Access+ with your Georgetown University NetID and password and click on the tutorial.

    Covers important research skills.

    Discusses the importance of research ethics.

    The tutorial is a collaborative project of students, faculty, and staff from Lauinger Library, the Honor Council, the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS), the Registrar’s Office, University Information Services, the Writing Center, and each of the undergraduate schools.

    Faculty may access the tutorial in Faculty Access+. Visitors may review the tutorial in Guest Mode. This mode will not record your results. First-year and transfer students should not use the guest mode version.

    Orientations

  • Research Odyssey
    Basic introduction to library resources only.
    First-year and transfer students: Do not use the Research Odyssey. Instead, you must complete the Joining the Conversation tutorial, which will record your results with StudentAccess+.
