To begin your request, use GEORGE to locate the book you want and click on the link to open the bibliographic information about the book. Click the Request button.

If you are not already logged in, you will be asked to log in at this point, and upon successful login, the Item Request page will appear.

Choose a pickup location and enter any special instructions.

Click on the Submit button. Check that everything is correct on the next page and then click on Request Selected Item. You will be notified via email when books recalled, searched, pulled or retrieved from off-campus storage are available for pickup at the location you have selected.

You can check the status of your requests by selecting "Display held items" option while viewing your account in GEORGE. (See My Account in the upper righthand corner of the screen.)

Please complete a request form and submit it to the Circulation Desk of either Lauinger Library or the Blommer Science Library.

Items will be held for eight days at the Circulation Desk where the request was submitted.

Some items in Riggs Library may be available electronically. Check with library staff for possible electronic access.

The vending machines accept cash in the form of coins and $1 bills. Most machines additionally accept GoCard.
