Love Your Data Week 2017

Blommer Science Library and Georgetown University Library invite you to participate in our first Love Your Data Week celebration.

Love Your Data Week starts February 13, 2017. It is a social media-based event that promotes good data practices and builds an engaged community around topics related to research data management, sharing, preservation, and reuse. The 2017 theme emphasizes data quality for researchers at any stage in their career.

Why data management? As a researcher, you have invested time, effort, and funds to create high-quality data that are essential to supporting, evaluating, and reproducing your research results. Effective data management protects the value of your data over time. Show your data some TLC now and reap long-term benefits later. Managing your data can lead to improved data security, greater efficiency, easier compliance with funding agency requirements, and enhanced visibility and reputation.

Join in the global Love Your Data conversation. Follow the dialogue on Twitter. Participate in activities throughout the week. Share your own compelling stories and lessons learned about working with data with other researchers.
