Hoyas Publish is a program sponsored by the Georgetown University Library and Georgetown University Press to showcase the many publications on campus that are staffed by students and/or publish student work. It is an opportunity for the staff of student publications to connect with one another, learn about the numerous resources the Library and the GU Press have to offer them, and attract new staff members, contributors, and readers.
Hoyas Publish Roundtable:The Roundtable will take place periodically and will give the staff of student-run publications the opportunity to connect with one another and discuss some of the practical issues that come up when starting or running a publication, as well as ask questions of scholarly publishing and communications experts from both Georgetown University Press and Georgetown University Library.
Hoyas Publish Student Publications Fair:More than a dozen publications are tabled, where publishers get a chance to showcase the vast array of student-run scholarly journals, newsletters, newspapers, and books to fellow colleagues, faculty, and visitors.
The next Roundtable discussion will take place in the Murray Room on the 5th floor of Lauinger Library on Thursday April 5, 2018.
The next Publications Fair will take place in the Healey Family Student Center on Thursday April 5, 2018.
