Friday Music Series: Early Modern Italian Music

Join the Library Associates and the Georgetown Music Program for the 2017 Opening Friday Music Series Lecture, Luncheon and Concert.

The lecture will feature Anthony DelDonna, Professor of Musicology, Georgetown and Guido Olivieri, Senior Lecturer in Musicology, University of Texas at Austin and will take place 10:30 am in the Booth Family Center for Special Collections, Lauinger Library, 5th Floor. The lecturers will discuss the concert's companion exhibition, Early Modern Italian Music. A light luncheon will directly follow the panel discussion.

The concert will take place at 1:15 pm in McNeir Auditorium, New North Hall and will include a performance from Modern Musick, featuring Risa Browder, violin, Leslie Nero, violin, John Moran, cello and Dongsok Shin, harpsichord.

The Georgetown University Music Program’s Friday Music Series features acclaimed artists in free concerts on Fridays at 1:15 p.m. at Georgetown.
