Custom Digital Embroidery with SewArt and the Brother PE-770

The Brother PE-770 Digital Embroidery Machine is a new addition to the Maker Hub’s Textiles workstation that empowers our visitors to add customized graphics and text to fabric. Trick out your T-shirts, tote bags, jeans, and pillows with your club’s logo, your name, or hilarious cat cartoons.

In this workshops, participants will learn how to set up and operate the Digital Embroidery machine safely and effectively. We’ll also cover the use of SewArt, the software that can turn your gif into a digital embroidery pattern.

Note: Close-toed shoes must be worn in the Maker Hub. Please see the Safety Page for all Maker Hub rules: https://www.library.georgetown.edu/makerhub/safety.
