Building the Atari Punk Console Synthesizer

Image of DIY Synthesizer "The Atari Punk Console"

NOTE: Participants need to register for BOTH days of the workshop.

The Atari Punk Console is a tiny synth with a lot of expressive capabilities. With only 12 parts, assembling it from scratch is easy, and you can really get creative with different types of interfaces and cases. Anything that creates resistance can be a control surface!

In this two-part workshop, we’ll spend the first session on March 14th building and testing our circuits, and the second session on March 21st designing cool cases with materials in the Maker hub.

To be concluded with an Atari Punk Jam Session!

Note: Close-toed shoes must be worn in the Maker Hub. Please see the Safety Page for all Maker Hub rules.

Prerequisite: None
