In this hands-on workshops, we will cover everything you need to know to conceptualize, download, design, and print objects on the MakerHub's 3D printers. Topics to be covered include: using thingiverse.com to find models to print; modifying models and creating new designs using TinkerCAD; and printing models on the Ultimaker, MakerBot, and Taz 6 3D printers. To get the most out of these workshops, participants should bring their own laptops, set up accounts on http://thingiverse.com and http://tinkercad.com, and (optionally) install Blender (http://blender.org) in advance of the workshop.
Note: Close-toed shoes must be worn in the Maker Hub. Please see the Safety Page for all Maker Hub rules.
