Georgetown Scholarly Communication Workshops

In this workshop Marcia Chatelain, Associate Professor of History and African American Studies at Georgetown, and an experienced podcaster, will discuss how faculty can bring their research to a broader audience through podcasts. Questions you will want to consider before starting a podcast include: how to translate scholarship into a compelling podcast, how to prepare for a podcast; how to identify and reach your target audience; and what challenges you might encounter. Nikoo Yahyazadeh, Multimedia Specialist at the Library's Gelardin New Media Center, will highlight podcasting equipment and services available to the Georgetown community.
