Intro to 3D modeling with TinkerCad

In this online workshop, we will cover everything you need to know to conceptualize, download, and design useful and creative 3D objects suitable for 3D printing . Topics to be covered include: using thingiverse.com to find models to print; modifying models and creating new designs using TinkerCAD; how to optimize your design for 3D printing. To get the most out of these workshops, participants should set up accounts on http://thingiverse.com and http://tinkercad.com, and (optionally) install Blender (http://blender.org) in advance of the workshop.
