Introduction to Evaluating Sources

Balance Scale

In this workshop offered by the SCS Library, participants will explore introductory strategies for evaluating sources. Attention will be given to scholarly and popular materials, and connections between source evaluation and writing will be discussed. Other relevant topics that will be outlined include format, authority, writing style, and publication type. The webinar will give attendees time to apply concepts to local needs, and a Q&A will be held at the end of the session.
