Due to ongoing repairs in Lauinger Library, the temperatures on Floors 5, 4, and in the Pierce Reading Room are currently lower than normal. Users may find more comfortable temperatures on the 3rd Floor outside of the Pierce Reading Room and on Floors 2, 1, and the Lower Level as well as the Bioethics and Blommer Science Libraries.

The Joseph A. O'Hare Library Endowment Fund was established in 1963 with a bequest from Mary O'Hare Biberstein.

The fund, in memory of Mrs. Biberstein's father, is "for the purchase of books, slides, audio-visual aids, microfilm, records and tapes, and all other materials having a similar purpose and function which are now or may hereafter be available."
