Computer Use in Lauinger Library

Beginning August 5, 2010, most computers in Lauinger Library will require a Georgetown University NetID login and will be available for use only by Georgetown University faculty, staff and students. The Library welcomes and continues to invite the larger Georgetown community to use its resources consistent with its use policies.

12 computers will remain available for Georgetown University guests at the following locations:

  • 3rd (entry) floor - 10 stations between the Reference and Circulation Desks
  • 2nd floor - 1 station next to the printer
  • 5th floor - 1 station across from the elevator

We encourage guests to bring their own laptops to Lauinger Library and take advantage of the free wireless network available throughout the building.  Information on accessing the wireless network is available here.

Please note: If you are a GU user and are having trouble logging in, be extra careful when entering your NetID and password. If you have confirmed that you are entering your NetID and password correctly, you may need to reset your password. Instructions can be found here: https://netid-mgmt.georgetown.edu/passwd/.  Still having trouble? Contact University Information Services at 7-4949.
