A Maker Space is more than just high-tech fabrication; sometimes the best way to make a project flexible and adaptable to organic forms is with textiles.
The Maker Hub is equipped with an easy-to-learn, heavy duty sewing machine for working with a range of fabrics.
We also have a Dorset Manual Loom, knitting supplies, and a LOT of yarn.
Fabric, thread, and yarn are free for you to use for your projects. However, PLEASE PUT ALL MATERIALS BACK WHEN DONE, IN A NEAT AND TIDY MANNER.
We also have lots of yarn and tools for knitting and crochet. Ask about our knitting groups and workshops!
