Due to ongoing repairs in Lauinger Library, the temperatures on Floors 5, 4, and in the Pierce Reading Room are currently lower than normal. Users may find more comfortable temperatures on the 3rd Floor outside of the Pierce Reading Room and on Floors 2, 1, and the Lower Level as well as the Bioethics and Blommer Science Libraries.

Celebrate Love Data Week

Illustration of a heart and a line graph

Get excited, researchers! Love Data Week starts Monday, February 12.

Georgetown University Library invites you to join an international conversation about research data management, sharing, preservation, and reuse. The 2018 discussion will encourage researchers at all levels to share stories about their data and how they tell stories with their data. This year will also emphasize seeing the people behind the data.

We also invite you to join us for a special data workshop on Valentine’s Day titled Learn How to Love Open Data where you can learn how to access and use openly accessible statistical data available from the U.S. government and other organization.

Visit Blommer’s Love Data Week 2018 page to learn about data resources available to you. Follow the global dialogue on social media to learn about good data practices and share your own experiences.
