As decisions about the start of the fall semester continue to unfold, the Library’s overarching goals remain unchanged: to provide the most essential services and content possible in support of Georgetown's teaching, learning, and research agenda. We are committed to designing and delivering high quality services and resources in a manner that remains aligned with the evolving health and safety regulations and guidelines established by the government and the University.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we deal with the challenges and opportunities of these unprecedented times. The Library is here to support you and the needs of Georgetown's academic community throughout this crisis and beyond.
Create Custom Valentine’s Day Gifts in the Maker Hub
Have you ever woken up and realized, "Oh no, tomorrow is Valentine’s day?" Do you want to be the partner or friend who creates thoughtful, considerate gifts but discover you have run out of time to put that thought into action? Come to the Maker Hub for the "Last Minute Thoughtful Gifts" workshop on February 13 at 5:30 pm!
At the workshop, you will be able to use the laser cutter to engrave your pictures onto heart-shaped coasters, the digital embroidery machine to write messages onto heart-shaped pillows, and other simple and fun projects. There will also be a large variety of crafting supplies on hand for any other ideas you have.
Participants should bring some nice images for laser-cutting, and/or ideas for text they’d like to embroider. Learn more about the workshop and sign up today!
