Due to ongoing repairs in Lauinger Library, the temperatures on Floors 5, 4, and in the Pierce Reading Room are currently lower than normal. Users may find more comfortable temperatures on the 3rd Floor outside of the Pierce Reading Room and on Floors 2, 1, and the Lower Level as well as the Bioethics and Blommer Science Libraries.

Digital Scholarship Bootcamp for Graduate Students

Do you want to build your very own digital scholarship portfolio? Now you can at the Library’s Digital Scholarship Bootcamp! Taking place from Tuesday, March 6 - Thursday, March 8, this 3-day workshop will help you gain experience with key digital scholarship methodologies and tools. You will learn how to create a website for your scholarship and dive into text mining, mapping, and creating infographics. At the end of the workshop, you will have a portfolio of projects covering all of these areas.

Participants can come from any discipline, you just need to have a topic of interest! Before the Bootcamp, you will need to identify some text and geographic locations related to your topic.
