Draw, Carve, Print!

Examples of printmaking

Join the Maker Hub, the Booth Family Center for Special Collections, and the Department of Art and Art History for a special printmaking workshop on Wednesday, February 28!

This hands-on workshop will be led by Lauren Emeritz, a graphic designer, letterpress printer, and book artist. In addition to her work as an artist, she is also the President and Creative Director of graphic design firm, Abstract Orange. Lauren will be joined by Lulen Walker, Art Collection Curator and Christen Runge, Assistant Art Curator from the Booth Family Center for Special Collections.

At the workshop participants will have a chance to see some incredible examples of printmaking from the Georgetown University Art Collection and then draw and carve their own designs on a block for printing! At the end of the workshop, each guest will walk away with their very own set of custom prints. Space is limited for this program so sign up now to reserve your spot!
