Fall Library Updates

As the fall semester begins, we have a few updates about Library operations.

Murray Room

The Murray Room will be used as a classroom until 3:30 p.m. Monday—Friday. From 3:30–7 p.m., the Murray Room will be available to university faculty and staff for academic meetings and university-sponsored events. Reservations must be made at least two days in advance. More information is available on the Murray Conference Room page.

Fourth Floor

The fourth-floor quiet study area adjacent to the graduate study lounge (on the Potomac side of the Library) has been designated for graduate student use only. The fourth-floor quiet study area on the Healy Lawn side of the building is still available to all community members.

Midnight Mug and Writing Center

The Midnight Mug coffee shop and the Writing Center both anticipate re-opening in mid- to late September.
