William Olsen, the Library’s social sciences bibliographer who specializes in African History and Studies among other subjects published a new title earlier this year that he co-edited with Carolyn Sargent, Professor of Anthropology and Affiliated Professor of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Washington University in St. Louis.

The collection of essays, titled African Medical Pluralismexplores a number of topics related to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in Africa, from traditional medicine to the latest in biomedical technology.
