Get Inspired to Partner with the Library

Laurent Emeritz, Maker Neighbor, and student in the Maker Hub

In spring 2018, the Department of Art & Art History, the Maker Hub, and the Booth Family Center for Special Collections came together to host a unique event about printmaking, Draw, Carve, Print.

At the event, Lulen Walker, Art Collection Curator, Christen Runge, Assistant Art Curator, and Scip Barnhart, Adjunct Lecturer for Art & Art History, shared information about the art of printmaking through examples that students have created here at Georgetown and pieces from the University’s Art Collection. Then Maker Neighbor Lauren Emeritz led a hands-on printmaking workshop where guests were able to design, carve, and then print their own custom art piece to take home.
