The Library offers digital scholarship consultations in the areas of text mining, mapping, data management planning, digital publishing, visualization, and more to anyone in the Georgetown community. The Library can provide advice and training on digital scholarship methods and tools for research projects. To schedule a consultation, email firstname.lastname@example.org with a brief description of what you’d like to cover in the consultation.
Research consultations are available at any point in the research process. Research consultations are offered by all of the Library’s subject specialists—librarians who are experts not only in how to use the Library and its various discovery tools, but also in the disciplines they study. Consultations are driven by the needs of the researcher. Librarians can help you with everything from narrowing down your research topic or focus to citing your sources correctly in your paper. If you would like to schedule a research consultation with the Library's subject specialists on Georgetown's main campus, please fill out this form. If you are a School of Continuing Studies student and prefer to meet at Georgetown's downtown campus, please select one of the available consultation times on this calendar.
Maker Hub consultations are a great way to get help, whether you have an idea but you don’t know where to get started or you are looking to learn a new piece of equipment. Learn about hand and power tools, 3D printing, laser cutting, working with textiles, soldering, and so much more! The consultations are easy to set up via chat or by emailing email@example.com.
