Looking for an on-campus job for the Fall semester (and beyond)? The Georgetown University Library is looking for students to fill positions in almost every department.
Examples of open positions include:
Art Collection Student Assistant The Art Collection Student Assistant provides general administrative support for the Georgetown University Art Collection, including inventorying print collection and scanning fine prints; data entry; research and exhibition preparation; cataloging incoming acquisitions; documenting and describing objects in the collection; preparing images for use on website; shifting boxes, moving paintings, wrapping objects, and removing artwork from frames; assisting Curator and Assistant Curator as needed.
Interlibrary Loan Student Assistant The interlibrary loan student assistant works closely with interlibrary loan staff to ensure the timely and accurate processing of materials being lent through interlibrary loan and the Consortium Loan Service. The ILL Student Assistant primarily processes Georgetown books and articles being lent to other libraries. ILL Student Assistants also spend two hours per week assisting patrons at the Lauinger Library circulation desk.
Positions are open only to students with Work-Study. The hourly rate for all positions is $15.20, and most positions are 8–10 hours per week. Find positions and apply at Georgetown’s Student Employment website.
