Library Welcomes New Digital Services Unit Head

Suzanne Chase, Head of the Digital Services Unit

The Library is pleased to welcome Suzanne Chase as the Head of the Digital Services Unit in the Library Information Technology Department. In this role, Suzanne will be managing, expanding, and promoting DigitalGeorgetown, our institutional repository services, and our digital collections and content.

Before coming to Georgetown, Suzanne was the Digital Resources Librarian at the University of Mary Washington’s Simpson Library, where she was responsible for managing the Library’s digital assets and initiatives. She holds a master’s degree in Library Science from UNC-Chapel Hill and a BA in Anthropology and Art History from UNC-Chapel Hill.
