Limited Services During Change to HoyaSearch

HoyaSearch logo

On July 18, Georgetown University Library as a member of the Washington Research Library Consortium (WRLC) is planning to implement anew library management system, including a new search tool, HoyaSearch. This system will replace both GEORGE and OneSearch, integrating holdings across the WRLC to give you a more seamless experience when you are searching for and requesting items on the Hilltop or at one of our partner libraries.

In preparation for this change, the Library catalog will be in “view only” mode starting July 12 at 12:00pm. From July 12-July 18 you will still be able to check out and return items at the circulation desk and search GEORGE and OneSearch. You will not be able to log in to your library account on the website, request items online, or use self check-out machines. To ensure the smoothest transition for users, the Library has extended all due dates past the expected implementation date of July 18.

If you have questions, you can stop by the circulation desk, email accessservices@georgetown edu or call (202) 687-7607.
