In partnership with University Information Services, the Library is pleased to announce that Georgetown students, faculty, and staff now have remote access to a variety of software applications through Nutanix Frame, a Web-based tool that provides a virtual computer lab via Web browser. This virtual lab environment offers Georgetown users access to many of the same software programs available on computers at Lauinger Library, including ArcGIS Pro, Matlab, SAS, Stata, and more.

Within Frame, users can:

  • Open any available lab application.
  • Create and open documents from those applications.
  • Copy documents locally to a computer or to Google Drive.
  • Print to a local printer

To access Frame, visit the login page for the Lauinger Library virtual workspace, select the “Sign in with Georgetown-SSO” button, and login using your NetID and password.

More information about using Frame is available from the UIS Service Center. Technical issues and troubleshooting questions should be sent to help@georgetown.edu.
