Request Your Summer Course Reserves Now

Tops of a line of books, each stamped with Georgetown University Library

Georgetown’s summer session, and a welcome return to in person classes, is right around the corner, and the Library can help you prepare readings and assignments for your courses. We can:

  • Scan selected book chapters and journal articles as PDFs using optical character recognition. These PDFs can be delivered to instructors in Box, and instructors can add them to Canvas or distribute them in other ways. Once delivered, these PDFs can be used in future semesters.
  • Provide permalinks to ebooks in the Library catalog that faculty can add in Canvas.
  • Provide streaming media via licensed services directly to a course’s Canvas page.

Learn more about the reserves services we offer during the COVID-19 pandemic, and general information about reserves, including copyright policies. You can also email reserves@georgetown.edu for information or assistance.
