Are you a graduate student preparing to submit your dissertation, doctoral project, or thesis? The Library has several resources available to help you navigate this process.

Before beginning the submission process through the ProQuest ETD Administrator, visit the Dissertations, Doctoral Projects, and Theses documentation page on the Library website, which includes step-by-step instructions for the submission process, as well as information on publishing options, embargoes, copyright, and where your work will be available after submission. ProQuest's Resources & Guidelines page has additional information on the submission process and the choices you will need to make.

The Library is also holding a workshop to review the electronic thesis and dissertation (ETD) submission process on Tuesday, April 2, at 1 p.m. in the Murray Room on Lauinger's 5th Floor.  The session will provide an overview of the ProQuest submission process from sign-in to publication. Topics may include various options available on ProQuest, the difference between Traditional and Open Access Publishing, how to protect your copyright, and how ProQuest and DigitalGeorgetown relate to each other.

Library staff members are always available to help with the submission of your dissertation, doctoral project, or thesis. We invite you to email digitalscholarship@georgetown.edu with your questions!
