Before beginning the submission process through the ProQuest ETD Administrator, visit the Dissertations, Doctoral Projects, and Theses documentation page on the Library website, which includes step-by-step instructions for the submission process, as well as information on publishing options, embargoes, copyright, and where your work will be available after submission. ProQuest's Resources & Guidelines page has additional information on the submission process and the choices you will need to make.
The Library is also holding a workshop to review the electronic thesis and dissertation (ETD) submission process on Tuesday, April 2, at 1 p.m. in the Murray Room on Lauinger's 5th Floor. The session will provide an overview of the ProQuest submission process from sign-in to publication. Topics may include various options available on ProQuest, the difference between Traditional and Open Access Publishing, how to protect your copyright, and how ProQuest and DigitalGeorgetown relate to each other.
