Track Economic Data with FRED Dashboards

FRED, the Federal Reserve Economic Data database, is now offering a service allowing users to create dashboards to track their favorite economic statistics and series. This new service allows you to publicize your dashboard, so your colleagues, students or blog readers can follow the economic statistics you care about. You can create several dashboards and choose to keep them private or make them public.

To get started, register as a user on the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis’ website, if you haven’t already. Then simply select the statistics of most interest to you and add them to your dashboard. Popular options include the Consumer Price Index (CPI), US Gross Domestic Product (GDP), the M2 and M2 Money Stocks, and total US Employees.
