Items from Lauinger, Blommer, or Bioethics Libraries
Max of 6 items on account at one time
Medstar employees (ME) have limited borrowing privileges at Lauinger, Blommer Science, and Bioethics Libraries. All Medstar employees must present their Medstar ID for library entry and to check out books. (If you have an old Medstar ID without a photo please bring with your a valid, government-issued photo ID: you will need both to access the building and to borrow books.) Privileges are non-transferrable, and Medstar faculty cannot set up proxy library accounts.
NUMBER OF BOOKS: An ME may have a maximum of six books checked out at one time from any combination of the libraries.

Accounts are suspended once a patron reaches $25 in fines.
LOST OR DAMAGED MATERIALS: A patron with lost or damaged materials may (1) pay a $80 replacement fee and a $30 processing fee, or (2) bring a copy of the item to the circulation desk for replacement consideration by the Library. If accepted, there will be a $30 processing fee.
