Retired Main Campus AAP & Staff Borrowing Policies

Main Campus retired classified staff and AAP (Academic and Administrative Professional) can request borrowing privileges at Main Campus libraries (Blommer Science, Bioethics, and Lauinger). Please come to the Service Desk to set up account.

Privileges:

  • Patrons may borrow only Main Campus Georgetown University Library books.
  • There is no limit to number of books that can be checked out.
  • Loan period is six weeks and three renewals are available before book must be brought to Library.

Privileges do not include:

  • Off-campus access to eBooks, eJournals, or databases.
  • Access to the GU Medical or Law libraries.
  • Access to WRLC material.
  • Access to Interlibrary Loan.

Renew Your Items

You may renew your books up to three times if they have not been requested by another borrower.

Books and media can be renewed online through HoyaSearch from the My Library Account option, by phone at (202) 687-7607, in person at the Service Desk, or by responding to the electronic overdue notice.

Fines will accrue on all materials renewed three days or more beyond the listed due date.
