To promote social distancing, hours and in-person services will be limited. Many other services remain available online. Food & Drink

Beverages in covered containers are permitted in Lauinger and Blommer libraries, uncovered beverages are prohibited. 

Alcohol is prohibited in the library.

Food is allowed ONLY on the second floor of Lauinger Library and food is restricted to "snack" style foods.

  • Examples of permitted snack food: candy, bagels, dried fruit and granola bars, cold sandwiches, grab-and-go cold-boxed food, salads.
  • Examples of prohibited food: pizza, hamburgers, fries, ice cream, subs or any other smelly, greasy or messy foods.

Food is prohibited on all floors of the library except the second floor.

Individuals who fail to comply with this policy may face disciplinary action. Visitors may be asked to leave the library and may be barred from the campus.
