Cafés, Society and Art

My exhibit/video revolves around the theme of cafés, society and art. The idea came to me when thinking about how important cafés were for artists in Paris. My idea then extended to what the meeting places meant to the French, and what symbol it represents today in a globalized world. My video tries to capture the essence of what the actual exhibit would be. I incorporated images of paintings, posters and decorative arts so that viewers can grasp the extent of the phenomenon.
