Frontonasal Dysplasia Modeling

We used the 3D reconstruction of a CT scan to print a model skull for a patient with craniofacial dysplasia. She has previously undergone over forty corrective operations. The purpose for creating a physical skull model is to test compatibility of stock reconstructive surgical plates - that is, we want to determine whether or not stock surgical plates will fit on her skull, given its abnormal contour.
