Hip Hop in the Nation's Capital

About a year ago I started carrying a disposable camera and taking photos at rap concerts I went to with friends, combining my love of music and my interest in photography. Since then, I have turned my long time hobby into a part time job and a full blown passion. In taking my first photo class at Georgetown and joining the Hoya and WGTB's blog, I've since captured moments of dozens of my favorite artists live in concert from Boston to DC. While I've had the opportunity to shoot photos of the Pope, Michelle Obama, and other incredible people, my concert photography is what I treasure the most. My camera has gotten me front row at some amazing shows and I can't wait to see where it takes me next.
